I read an article in the Philippine Daily Inquirer that I would love to scan and post here somewhere. Its about evaluating things and the limits of evaluation because of the lack of awareness and wisdom and the paradigm limits we put on ourselves (because of core belief and value systems, religion included) even in our simple daily lives. I will post more about this soon and its concrete effects on other people's health.

Recommendation: For most problems I recommend NOT staying at the hospital esp. for the long term and systemic problems. The hospital is good for immediate and emergency cases requiring treatment of physical injuries,emergencies and the confinement of quarantine cases. We will delve further into the mechanics of why people like this are sorely lacking in wisdom and health.
Some people accept it as being normal. Some accept is as being part of themselves. If being part of you is having halitosis wouldn't you want to change that? Watch out for it. It's now Feb 22 2010 and here it is. Very often I hear the same kind of crap from people. "I am like this (fill in the negative attitude) and I can't help it". "This is me and there's nothing wrong with it coz' its normal". Instead of people being objective and recognizing that certain characteristics are holistically more negative (or positive) and being pro active in doing something about it, they revert back to the excuse that it is nature. I even hear this excuse from the most intelligent of people. People become temperamental for the flimsiest of reasons esp. if its an affront to their: 1. ego. 2. paradigms and perceptions. 3. expectations, systems of realities et al. ex. child telling of parent, wife telling of husband, car overtaking another car (and the driver is male), wife not stirring the husband's coffee before serving (believe me, this really happened). Anyhow the list goes on regarding how superficial and dumb people can be regarding the matter. Many times, sungit people don't realize that they ARE masungit. It's just unfortunate that the one's who are aware many times like to revel in their emotional state rather than change it. People would do well to look at the buddhist monks and the yogis why they behave so serene the way they do. Holistically being masungit can do the ff: 1. create less satisfactory relations ( I always tell people don't get involved with temperamental people, often people don't consider it important until they are always fighting) 2. cause concrete physical illnesses 3. create material for movies. For the sake of this blog, lets tackle the illness issue. Unfortunately, in nature certain things have more serious ramifications than others. The tagalog term sungit best reflects the individuals who will suffer from a plethora of diseases from arthritis to cancer. While it is in the best interest of this writer to let all the sungit people die. It is also in our best interest to let people become aware that they do have a chance to be aware, to know, and to change. In chinese medical terms being temperamental leads to the generation of persistent pernicious fire energy which accumulates in the system. Fire energy which is also responsible for "activation", "growth" et al and can explain why people have arthritis (abnormal growth of bone), hypertension and high blood (activation of blood systems), cancer (growth again) and a whole bunch of other problems. It can also lead to the less efficient operation of the contrarian (read:water) energy force which resides primarily in organs like the Liver thus causing liver problems just to name a few. In a heartbeat, give it a thought. Most of the things you considered important enough to be agitated about are really unimportant. Give it a thought. A long introspective one. I'm not here to teach you what to think but that all people must start being introspective, discerning, logical and clear in their thoughts to begin the next step of evolving. If you do choose to evolve you can expect the ff: 1. increase in livingness and joy. 2. decrease in illnesses. 3. better relations and better partners. 4. more positive effect on the world and others. 5. oth Being masungit is an animals behaviour. Thoughtless and uncontrolled. Choose to be an animal or choose to be a human. The choice is yours. This new post will explain why rest and hospitalization are NOT recommended for most ill people. A week has passed and here it is. Just like all things, sugar and salt, air and water. Too much of either and lack of the other, can have negative consequences. As there is day and night, there should be inactivity (sleep, powernaps) and activity. The problem with people who feel sick is they try to rest/sleep to:
But like all things, rest is an abused medical tool. (same way physicians prescribe medicines. remember michael jackson and brittany murphy) (see stretching post below) and actually contributes to further complications. Proper rest should encompass the regular sleeping period (preferably 8-9 hours sleep 11pm down) and a mid afternoon power nap for not more than 1 hour). The only people with an excuse to be bedridden(rest) are the patients who have suffered physical injuries (accidents, surgery, et al) that require immobility to prevent them from damaging the affected areas further and giving it time to heal. Those who are comatose is another exception. (but you can still do electro stimulation and accupuncture) Many medical complications can be attributed to this inactivity but most medical practitioners haven't realized the correlation yet.
