I quote the WHO representative (who is Vietnamese) : "the philippines is still too backward in alternative medicine.... so we didn't invite them.".
There were a lot of contentions discussed on the matter and I highly recommended that the Philippines be invited despite their "backwardness". Insinuations flew, among them were the poor government coordination and support, the current medical system and it's resistance to the matter et al.
While I completely agree with them. I still think the invite would have at least opened some doors for our backward country.
Speaking of backward, we are currently conflicting with certain entities within our primary government hospital trying to limit and destroy the gains and benefits, as proven by the alternative medicine clinic.
