- The stronger you are, the less likely you will die of ANY sickness. Cancer included.
- This is based on the persons ability to lift the maximum weight they can do once only (like a leg press), and relative to their personal weight. (ergo <weight lifted once/body weight>)
- The difference is even more significant in the age group over 60. Stronger old people were way less likely to die as compared to the lower strength bracket.
- Cardio fitness, had no impact (I prefer to use "less") on the results. Ergo, aerobics is of little concern for longevity. Stamina has less significance on a persons survivability to all forms of mortality causes than strength.
Ergo, wanna live longer? Be stronger.
Aerobics is only good for the very very short term.
