I have always been an antithesis of resting for most forms of illness recuperation except those that truly require a certain level of immobility (and even then..), as this will actually PROLONG their recovery period. I have postulated this based on holistically evaluating the cause and effect relations holistically together with prudent observation and a good deal of discernment. Meaning. No study. But that is not to say I am wrong. Just because there were no studies does it mean I am incorrect? Was Isaac Newton incorrect when the apple fell from the tree? Steve Jobs had a study-less idea. The results speak for themselves. We all want validation. But it doesn't mean they were wrong. To wait for that validation means opportunity cost/loss. Like the astronomical cost (via spacecraft?) of proving to "flat earth believers" (christians) that it is not flat.
