It somehow frustrates me to read articles of this ilk till this very day and age. It's almost as bad as reading articles that insinuate the flatness of the earth, or that it has existed for only 10,000 years or so.
The 18yr old in question regrets to this very day his decision to be a kidney donor. Again, it is a series of being uneducated, poorly evaluated string of (mis)information by the institution. To limit it in an allopathic (western medical) perspective put the life of this donor in higher risk.
The use of energy medicine like acupuncture and even powerlifting type exercises has already shown the ability to reverse kidney failure. Why the institution (western medical) continues to peddle its consult, at the risk of poor innocent people, can only be baffling. We can only postulate it is because of an implicit bias, or an ignorant prejudice that continues this malevolent cycle of misinformation.
